***LINEDANCE***

I started linedancing in August 2003 in our local club, Mariestads Linedancers Rednecks,
a club which was founded in 2001.
As of now it´s probably one of the funniest things I´ve ever done, I totally love it!

February 2004: I´ve now participated in my first show. We did Tush Push and everything went
really well! We had an audience of 2,300 people.

August 2004: I´m about to start my second year, now practising six times a month.
Looking forward to it! We also kick off with a club dance, even better!

November 2004: Added one more practise, so now ten times a month. A bit tough,
but I enjoy the challenge. Looking forward to The Fun Competition in Skövde
this month.

December 2004: Fun Competition is over. Was real fun to watch the competitors
- so many talented dancers! We were a bit disappointed with the DJ not following the
dance list, and playing too few popular dances, but still we had a very good time!

September 2005: Started practising with the show group. Lots of practise needed!
Planning our trip to the World Championships in Country Dance in Stockholm
in December. I´m looking forward to it!

December 2005: First performance for me with the show group at our Christmas party, went well.
Next we´re practising for a competition in Grums, Sweden in January.

January 2006: Worlds is over. Had a terrific time! Am exhausted!

January 2006: The competition went great and we made 1st place. We did a dress up show
to "It´s a country thing", and were also asked to do the show again at another
Fun Competition in November.

February 2006: Celebrated the club´s 5th anniversery with a great party. Also participated
in a show with the Show group.

September 2006: It´s great to have started the new term again! And my fourth year.
Yesterday we performed in an outdoor show in town. Quite a lot of people came looking
and we were about 25 dancers, so it was fun. We did stuff like Tush Push,
Irish Stew and Picnic Polka.

September 2007: Starting my 5th year of linedancing! Still as fun as ever. Will try to dance
twice a week this year, plus once every other week. I need the exercise!
Presently looking forward to Fun Competition in Skövde in December and
dancing with Maggie Gallagher!
